Terms of Use

Welcome to Comuniq. Before diving in, take a moment to read these terms — they exist to protect the quality of conversations and ensure this space stays worth your time.

1. What Comuniq Is and Why It's Different

Comuniq is not another generic forum. While most discussion platforms prioritize volume and virality, Comuniq prioritizes depth and relevance. Every article, comment, and debate here has a purpose: to advance collective thinking across technology, science, art, and the ideas shaping our world.

One of our core goals is to build a community where serious ideas meet worthy interlocutors, without noise, without attention-manipulating algorithms, and without monetizing user data. Unlike other platforms that collect and sell your data for advertising, Comuniq collects only what is strictly necessary to run your account, shares nothing with third parties, and shows no ads.

2. User Registration and Accounts

To participate in interactive features such as voting and commenting, users must register by providing a username and password. Providing an email address is optional. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Any unauthorized use of your account must be reported immediately to the Comuniq team.

3. Content and Participation

Comuniq is built by its members. The quality of this space depends directly on the contributions of each person. We ask that you:

  • Comment and engage only within the categories available on the platform.
  • Be constructive. Disagreeing is healthy, attacking is not.
  • Avoid offensive, discriminatory, spam, or misleading content. Such content will be removed and may result in account suspension or permanent ban.
  • Do not post content outside the available topic categories.

Comuniq reserves the right to moderate, edit, or delete any content that compromises the integrity of the platform.

4. Communities

Any registered user may create and manage one or more communities around specific topics. As a community creator, you take on the role of moderator and are responsible for maintaining the standards of your community in accordance with Comuniq's overall terms.

As a community moderator, you may:

  • Flag a post as inappropriate or remove an existing flag.
  • Ban a user from participating in your community.
  • Edit posts published within your community.

Other registered users may publish content within any community, subject to Comuniq's platform-wide guidelines.

Comuniq administrators monitor all communities. If a community accumulates a significant number of reports or violations, administrators may intervene and lock the community, preventing anyone from publishing in it, including the moderator who created it. Repeated or severe violations may result in the permanent removal of the community.

5. Data Collection and Use

We only collect the following information to manage user accounts:

  • Username (required)
  • Password (required)
  • Email (optional)

This data is used exclusively for authentication, account management, and security. We do not share any user data with third parties, we do not sell data, and we display no advertising.

6. Moderation

All content moderation is handled by the Comuniq team. Violations of the rules may result in warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent account bans, depending on the severity of the offense. The goal is not to punish. It is to protect the quality of this space for everyone.

7. Limitation of Liability

Comuniq is not responsible for the opinions or content posted by users. Each member is solely responsible for the information they share. By posting, you confirm that your content does not violate the rights of third parties or these terms.

8. Changes to the Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Use at any time. Notifications will be posted on the platform or on this page. Continued use of Comuniq after any changes implies acceptance of the updated terms.
