Yes, they’re used to discuss almost the same topics. The site allows each user to create their own subgroups and moderate them, and the administrators only intervene if a user reports a violation of our rules. The user daniel created the “jobs” subgroup long after the user h--za1 created “Career-job-opportunities.”
That’s why I believe we’ll see more cases like this in the future.
